Vlasic Pickles Partnership Expanded

Leading American pickle brand continues as APP’s official pickle partner, title sponsor of two tournaments in 2024

CHICAGO (January 24, 2024)—The Association of Pickleball Players (APP) announced an extension with partner Vlasic® Pickles, a leading American brand of pickles, to continue as the official pickle partner of the APP. As part of Vlasic Pickles’ title sponsorship of the 2024 APP Tour, pickleball players will compete in the APP Vlasic Classic™ tournaments in Cincinnati, Ohio, and Delray Beach, Fla.

“Our friends at Vlasic Pickles share more with us than the ‘pickle’ in our names; they share in our vision for continuing to grow the sport of pickleball for years to come, reaching a global audience of diverse players,” said Tom Webb, APP chief marketing officer. “Vlasic Pickles is a leader in its respective industry as well as pickleball, as demonstrated through its multi-year support of the APP. The APP previously announced its groundbreaking partnership with Vlasic Pickles in February 2023, paving the way for the first pickle brand ever to sponsor an official pro pickleball tour. Vlasic Pickles also served as title sponsor for the APP’s first-ever tournament in Cincinnati, welcoming players and spectators to the APP Vlasic Classic in May 2023.
