Recruitment: We engage with diverse talent, from new grads to seasoned professionals. Our message: Conagra welcomes all those unique experiences that make up who you are.

Our eight Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) have contributed to building a diverse and inclusive culture within Conagra. They provide a place for employees’ voices to be amplified, where they can learn from each other on cultural and business topics.   • Partnered with Asian Americans Advancing Justice | Chicago to teach best practices for strong allyship
  • Hosted an event with Chef Nicole Ponseca to discuss challenges minorities face in the restaurant industry and learn about Filipino cuisine
  • Teamed up with Conagra’s Young Professionals Employee Resource Group to help distribute more than 2,000 meals for individuals in our Chicago and Omaha communities who are experiencing hunger

  • Volunteered with No More Empty Pots (NMEP) Omaha to build out their garden used to support their programing to improve self-sufficiency, regional food security, and economic resilience of urban and rural communities through advocacy and action

Scholarship Program

As part of our support of Black and Latin communities, we’ve partnered with the Thurgood Marshall College Fund and the Hispanic Scholarship Fund. These partnerships will help ensure students receive equitable access to quality higher-education opportunities.

In addition to funding several college scholarships, Conagra employees engage with scholarship recipients to provide unique professional development opportunities that strengthen their career prospects. We are sharing the Conagra Experience with tomorrow’s leaders.

Conagra collaborates with popular Chicago entertainer Chance The Rapper’s SocialWorks program. We provide a multi-year grant for the organization’s New Chance Fund, benefiting Chicago Public Schools high school students. The partnership offers unique mentorship opportunities that cultivate students’ artistic abilities and develop professional skills — including food packaging design, online product launch and original music creation.

In 2020, Conagra launched “United For Change,” an updated approach to employee fundraising. The annual campaign benefits United Way, American Civil Liberties Union Foundation (ACLU) and Human Rights Watch in Canada.
