Conagra Brands’ Approach to Diversity and Inclusion

We are deeply saddened by the events that have happened in the U.S. this week. It's heartbreaking and unacceptable that racism and racial injustices exist around the world. Our goal is to work together in a peaceful and constructive manner where everyone has a voice and must be heard.
The senseless killing of George Floyd has sparked a range of emotions and questions. We have experienced frustration, anger and great sadness. Some of the questions our employees are asking are what do we do, how do we engage team members and how can we be part of the solution?
Diversity and inclusion (D&I) has always been a focus for Conagra Brands, but now is the time to increase our efforts. Creating a space for dialogue is only the beginning. While we do not have the answers yet, we are determined to be part of the solution and will accomplish this by looking at our actions and those of others through the lens of our timeless values, which include integrity, broad-mindedness, and leadership.
Our first step has been to work with an external diversity and inclusion consultancy to help us consolidate a comprehensive understanding of our foundational D&I efforts and identify specific opportunities that will be critical to evolve our commitment. This work, in addition to the work of our employee resource groups (ERGs) and ongoing listening sessions open to all employees, will help us drive meaningful change. We look forward to continuing to share reports of our progress along the way.
Our goal is to come together and make progress against these important issues as a cohesive team. To be caring to one another and acknowledge the support needed during this critical time. Let's work together to be part of progress toward change.
